What a dope event! Good looking 1 Love T.O. and Tien Ta for putting the video together!
There will always be a place in my heart for 110 Sudbury St. Suite 200. Even though the remains of this building are literally rubble, at anytime I can close my eyes and visualize every inch of the 4700 square feet, which we all called home. A lot of amazing people made incredible things happen in this building, from the launch of The Remix Project when the Mayor David Miller was present, to a special visit from our lovely Governor General Michelle Jean, to Drake and 40 recording parts of Comeback Season until sunrise, to T-RexXx and Future creating the Tribute Mix-tape “Conception”, to Breakfast Television, Global TV, Much Music, MTV, CTV doing press pieces, to Luisville Slugger from Boot Camp Click trying to apply to be in the program, to the Gavin Sheppard Story, to Sparkz, to every single participant, to all the mentors, volunteers and fundraising committee. I can honestly say the three years at 110 Subdury St. were some of the best moments of my life. Thank you to all of you, and I look forward to seeing you all at 2 Pardee Ave Suite 201 and 302. The saga continues… Get Money, Make Change… In you life, in your community, in the world…
On September 3rd / 2010 a good friend of mine Dave Bolland brought the Stanley Cup to Toronto, with no help from our Maple Leafs! Bolland, a top 10 scorer in the 2010 Stanley Cup Play-offs knows where his roots are. Dave brought the cup back to his childhood neighbourhood, Mimico, where he held a parade for the afternoon. At night he brought the cup by Muzik night club in downtown Toronto and needless to say it was one hell of a party!!! Dave also donated all the profits of the night to The Remix Project in Toronto. Hats of to a real gentlemen, community and a world champion! Congrats Bolsy!
Oooooo, and he knows how to score short-handed!
